1. What happens after placing my order online?
All purchase orders are confirmed by e-mail within one business days after placing the order. No order will be deemed accepted without this confirmation. If you do not receive the confirmation form e-mail within the indicated time period, please contact ThalesNano Inc.'s head office.

The confirmation form includes the followings:
• Confirmation number
• Type and quantity of items ordered
• Exact payment amount
• Delivery method, date and costs
• Contact information at the customer's company

 
The CatCart® catalyst cartridges have no minimum order quantity requirements.

The minimum air freight charge is € 80,00 to Europe, $ 110,00 to the USA and Canada and $ 130 to Australia, China, India and Japan.

 

 

2. Why did I not receive an order confirmation form by email?
Please check your "Junk Email Box". To prevent this from happening again in the future, you can add the thalesnano.com domain to your "safe" list.

3. What type of shipping is used?
We use UPS services for both domestic and international shipping. When submitting your shipping address note, however, that UPS does not ship to PO Boxes or to APO addresses.

4. What are the shipping costs?
Exact shipping costs for your order are calculated and will appear on your confirmation form.
Certain CatCarts contain hazardous materials that require special shipment. The cost of shipment of hazardous materials is higher than for non-hazardous materials and shipping times may also be extended. The cost and expected timescale for the shipment of hazardous materials will be advised in the order confirmation form and must be confirmed by the buyer.

5. Where do my products ship from?
ThalesNano Inc. has product manufacturing and fulfillment hubs in Hungary, Europe. The products ship from the head office: ThalesNano Inc., 1031 Budapest, Zahony utca 7., Hungary.

6. When will I get my order?
Generally, orders require 1-3 weeks for production & delivery once the order has been placed. All shipping is done via third party vendors, which we have no control over; therefore, ThalesNano Inc. cannot guarantee delivery dates and times.

We ship the CatCart® catalyst cartridges in 8 business days from receiving the purchase order.

If delivery is not possible within the specified time, the customer will be notified in 3 business days.

For European Union (EU) orders

The items will arrive within 1-3 weeks depending on the type of product ordered. Some items may take longer to manufacture.

 

For overseas - e.g. USA - orders
The items will arrive within 2-4 weeks depending on the type of product ordered. Some items may take longer to manufacture.

7. What else should I note about shipping?
Thales Nanotechnology) fulfills his obligation to deliver when he has made the goods available at his premises to the buyer. In particular, he is not responsible for loading the goods on the vehicle provided by the buyer or for clearing the goods for export. The buyer bears all costs and risks involved in taking the goods from the Seller's premises to the desired destination.

8. I'm having trouble placing my order online. Could it be a problem with my computer?
We apologize for the situation you encountered. Please check your cookies settings -cookies must be enabled for our sites to work. Otherwise it could be due to an issue with the Internet beyond our control, or problems with one of our servers. If an error page was displayed when you attempted to place your order, then our developers are automatically sent an email notifying us of the situation so that we can troubleshoot the problem. Problems are often only temporary, so please try again later if you're having trouble now.

9. Which browsers will work with the online ordering system?
Our site is optimized to work with Internet Explorer, FireFox (Mozilla), Safari, and Opera.

10. What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa and MasterCard cards.

11. Does ThalesNano Inc. store my credit card number?
ThalesNano Inc. has firewalls in place and uses encrypted communications when passing credit card data to the credit card merchants to charge your card. On our servers we only store your name and the first 4 and last 4 digits of your card (not your card's security code) and that data is stored in a database behind our firewalls.

12. When will I be charged for my order?
For debit cards, and pre-paid credit cards, the total amount will be charged at the time the order is confirmed. When these orders finally ship, any adjustments will be made resulting from variations in shipping charges, or if items were deleted from the order during the approval process. All standard credit card orders will have a temporary hold placed on the account at the time of purchase for the confirmed amount, which will be settled only when the order ships. Your available credit may be affected by this temporary hold.

13. Is VAT included in the price?
VAT is not included and it is charged only on sales to residents of the EU making personal purchases. If a valid EU VAT number is provided at the time of ordering, goods will be shipped to non-hungarian residents of the EU net of VAT. All purchases made by customers outside the EU are charged less VAT.

14. How can I cancel an order?
Our system is automated, and production is custom and made just for you, so -unfortunately - you can't cancel orders once they have been placed. However, we will gladly replace any defective products you receive from us.

15. Can I return my item if I do not like it?
All sales are final as all items are custom and made-to-order per your specifications. However, we will gladly replace any products that have manufacturing defects.

16. What should I do if I receive products with manufacturing defects?
Please call the contact person listed in the confirmation form to discuss the return process. When you call, you will need to provide the
• Order Number
• Name or Description of each product
• Nature of the problem
• Your contact information

17. What should I do if I have any complaints regarding the purchased products or the shopping procedure?
